The 2025 May/June results were released on August 4, 2025, approximately 45 days after the final paper. With WAEC’s e-result portal, you can now check your result instantly using your examination details and e-PIN (priced at ₦1,500).

How to Check WAEC Result Online (2025)

Follow these simple steps to check your WAEC result:

    Enter your 10-digit Examination Number (7-digit Centre Number + 3-digit Candidate Number, e.g., 4123456789).

    Select your Examination Year (e.g., 2025).

    Choose your Examination Type (May/June School Candidate or Nov/Dec Private Candidate).

    Enter your 12-digit e-PIN and the Serial Number from your voucher.

Tip: You can check your WAEC result up to 5 times with one e-PIN. After that, you’ll need to buy another one (₦1,500). Avoid unofficial sites to prevent scams.

How to Check WAEC Result via SMS

If you don’t have internet access, you can still check your result with a basic phone (₦30 SMS charge applies).

Common Issues & Solutions

Invalid PIN

Double-check the 12-digit PIN and Serial Number; ensure no scratches or typos.

Result Not Found

Confirm the release date (August 4, 2025) or check for held results (released October 12, 2025). Try again after 24 hours.

Incorrect Exam Number

Verify your 10-digit number from your WAEC ID card or timetable.

Portal Down

Results are hosted on a secure server; if overloaded, try SMS or later.
